Arden is a female bald eagle who hatched in 2010. As a juvenile, Arden flew into power lines and received treatment for nerve damage in her right shoulder at the Bird Treatment and Learning Center in Anchorage.
Arden joined the ABEF team in April of 2015 and has been maturing in front of visitors, molting out of her juvenile plumage and developing her adult feathers. Her long beak helps guests distinguish her from the other eagles on our team. She can often be seen up high in her large window, watching passersby and wildlife outside.
