Gabe grew up in a small town in Alabama and would develop a love for the outdoors by hunting and fishing with his dad and helping his grandfather and uncle work with their cattle. He always wanted to be a veterinarian, so he went to Auburn University. While there, he started working at the Auburn University Raptor Center as a volunteer. His love for raptors started to grow as he started to train various raptors and help present at educational shows. In the summer of 2024, he took an internship here at the American Bald Eagle Foundation and was able to grow his knowledge of raptors and the environment.
He is now the Avian Curator and wants to promote conservation by teaching as many people as possible about these wonderful raptors we share this world with.
In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and just being outdoors in nature.
