Mallory grew up in the suburbs of Minnesota before finding comfort in the northern country of the state. Up there, she got her bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology and minor in Art at Bemidji State University where she was also one of the school’s vertebrate museum taxidermists. In the summer of 2023, Mallory was an education intern at the International Wolf Center of Ely, Minnesota where she realized her passion for getting the public excited about wildlife. The following summer, she was an intern for the American Bald Eagle Foundation where she fell in love with the fauna of SouthEast Alaska. With her experience in education, art, and taxidermy, Mallory hopes to continue to get the public passionate about conservation through education.
In her spare time, Mallory enjoys exploring the outdoors, fishing, and simply creating things.
